It’s an okay Saturday night thriller movie. It’s very much reliant on the presence of Sandra Bullock, I think. If she’s not in the movie, I’m not sure I’ve been given enough to truly care about the character. And while I understand not wanting to dive too deep into what caused the supernatural phenomenon that drives the plot…it would have been nice if they’d at least TRIED to explain what caused this to happen. Heck, I’m not even entirely sure what IS happening. It’s all pretty vague, other than the whole “KEEP YOUR BLINDFOLDS ON OR YOU’LL DIE OR TURN CRAZY” thing. But for what this movie is – a conversation piece Netflix thriller – this was alright. All last night I dreamed that I was in the world of this movie. So I guess it made an impression.
