I never thought I’d want or need a movie about Tonya Harding. But it’s good that they made this. I’m not sure how accurate it is, but if it’s even close, the whole story of her life – and the Nancy Kerrigan incident that would ultimately define her – is as interesting as it is tragic. She was just a girl from a rough background who found her true calling and passion. It’s sad that she was robbed of that. Margot Robbie shines, as expected, and Allison Janney provides an effective supporting role. And don’t forget about Sebastian Stan, who shows he’s more than just a winter soldier.
