Pretty fascinating "based on a true" story about an oft-overlooked part of the space race. It follows a common formula for biographical, historical feed-good movies. It would have been nice if it had tried to break the mold a bit more. But it's quite charming at times. And it's good family entertainment. 4 out of 5 stars

What an inspiring, terrifying documentary. We follow three rock climbers as they conquer a seemingly impossible mountain in the Himalayas. With equal parts courage and stupidity, they show us that human beings are capable of amazing things. This movie makes me want to go climb a mountain....Though not THAT mountain. 4 out of 5 stars

I stopped this movie half way through because I felt like I needed to watch the film that it was based on, The Room. The Room is one of the worst movies ever made. And I am glad I did that.
